Would you like to show at GearBox Gallery? Here's your chance: Enter our call for entries. Awards include future exhibition opportunities at GearBox Gallery. Entry deadline: Monday, June 27th!
We invite entries in any medium for WILD/MIND at GearBox Gallery in Oakland, CA. Submit work exploring two fundamental sides of being human – wild being the animal, primal, instinctual side; mind being the logical, & abstracting side. One connects us to nature, animals, the planet, to the universe. The other enables us to separate, to analyze, assess, conceptualize, create. Do you strike a balance between the two or privilege one of these essential aspects of our humanity over the other? Where do you find the intersection of instinct and intellect?
ELIGIBILITY: Open to artists over the age of 18 and living or working in Northern California. Please note, artwork must be hand delivered to GearBox Gallery in Oakland, CA if accepted for exhibition.
