The San Francisco Arts Education Project proudly presents the return of the annual Dialogues exhibition, which consists of work by SFArtsED artist mentors and their students hanging side by side. The students’ work was created in residencies in San Francisco public schools or in an SFArtsED after-school program. For this year’s exhibition, six artists worked with their classes on projects that use either materials, strategies, or concepts that they employ in their own work. They have chosen a piece of their own to pair with some examples from their residencies demonstrating the fruitful and circular conversation between the practicing fine artist and student; each inspiring the other.
